About us
Tortilleria Luna was born in Jerez, Zacatecas Mexico when Liliana Oviedo at age 20 learned the trade to make home-made tortillas. Two years later Liliana arrived to Des Moines in 2005. Liliana worked in cleaning and restaurants for 13 years in an effort to save enough funds to invest in industrial equipment. In 2015, Liliana started her strategic and financial planning and in June 2018 Tortilleria Luna was born. Tortilleria Luna is open to the public at our store located in Des Moines and we deliver our delicious tortilla to establishments all over Iowa. The key to our success is that our tortilla contains 0% preservatives or additives. Our tortilla is 100% home made and only uses natural ingredients.
Mission
Our daily mission is to manage to provide the highest quality natural product. Our daily goal is for all orders to arrive safely and on time. In addition, our mission is to satisfy the needs of the client and our team.
Vision
Our vision is to acquire an industrial facility in order to be able to to serve the increasing demand for our 100% natural homemade tortilla.
